Bringing Research and Photography Together in a Clean Layout. ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ“ธ

Scientific publishing projects often carry a big challenge: how do you present dense research results and field photographs so they are easy to read without losing their academic weight?

On the book project "Serangga Terbang (Capung dan Kupu-Kupu)" (Flying Insects: Dragonflies and Butterflies), a collaboration between Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia (UAI) and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk., I worked as the layout designer.

Working closely with the team of authors and photographers, my task was to weave research data and macro photo documentation into a printed work that is aesthetic, well structured, and comfortable to study. A fresh touch of green, generous white space, and a precise text hierarchy were used so that this guidebook is not only informative but also visually appealing.

Need a designer to put together a corporate report, company profile, or academic research book so it looks professional and is easy to read? Let's discuss your project! ๐Ÿ“–โœจ
